About Blake Cordova
Blake Cordova's journey in law began during his first year at Cumberland School of Law, where he excelled in the Parham Williams Trial Competition, finishing among the top eight teams. This experience ignited his passion for litigation and client advocacy.
To refine his skills, Blake enrolled in several advocacy-focused courses at Cumberland, with a clear goal of mastering the art of trial law. In his third year, he joined Cumberland’s National Trial Team, an uncommon but rewarding decision. In the fall of 2024, he participated in two prestigious competitions: Drexel’s Battle of the Experts in Philadelphia and the National Civil Trial Competition in Los Angeles. His team reached the finals in Philadelphia and received the Professionalism Award in Los Angeles.
Continuing his success, Blake won the 2025 American Association of Justice Regional Championship in Chicago and ended his trial team tenure as a quarterfinalist at the American Association of Justice National Competition in Atlanta.
Outside the courtroom, Blake was a consistent Dean’s List honoree and engaged in Cumberland’s intramural sports. Upon graduation, he joined Hollis Wright, dedicating his career to representing injured victims.
In his personal time, Blake enjoys hunting, fishing, playing golf, and family activities. He often takes his chocolate Labrador, Lyla, on river outings.
