About Craig Shirley
Craig Shirley, a native of Dothan, Alabama, earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Auburn University, where he also played on the university's baseball team. He pursued his legal education at Cumberland School of Law starting in the fall of 2016. During his time at Cumberland, Craig was an active member of the Cumberland National Trial Team and the Cumberland Trial Advocacy Board. Notably, he was part of the team that won the 2017 National Civil Trial Competition in Los Angeles, CA. Craig was twice chosen to compete in the Top Gun National Mock Trial competition at Baylor University, achieving runner-up status in 2019. Additionally, his article, "Alabama's Wrongful Death Act and the Unborn Plaintiff," was published in the Cumberland Law Review in 2019.
Before joining Hollis Wright in 2021, Craig gained substantial experience in insurance defense litigation. At Hollis Wright, he focuses on representing injured clients throughout Alabama, practicing in areas such as automobile and trucking accidents, premises liability, product liability, medical negligence, and industrial accidents.
