Benny Charles Hand

Benny Charles Hand is a seasoned attorney and founding partner of Hand Law Practice, LLC, as well as a partner at Hand Mediation, LLC. He was admitted to the Alabama Bar in 1990 after earning his Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. Benny completed his undergraduate studies in Business Administration at Auburn University in 1987, maintaining a strong connection to the Auburn community.

Born in Valley, Alabama, Benny traveled extensively as a child to Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Mexico, where his parents worked as missionaries and teachers. These experiences fostered his appreciation for Central American culture and fluency in Spanish. After high school, Benny returned to Auburn and has been a resident of Lee County for over 35 years.

In 1990, Benny established Hand Law Firm, LLC, where he has practiced for more than three decades. His practice areas include criminal defense, civil litigation, social security, family law, and probate law. Benny's unique perspective in criminal defense is enhanced by his experience serving as a Municipal Judge and Prosecutor in Roanoke, Wedowee, Camp Hill, Jackson's Gap, Alexander City, Dadeville, and Opelika.

In addition to his legal practice, Benny is a state-registered mediator and has served as a Municipal Judge for over twenty years, further enriching his legal expertise.
