About Danyel Peters
Danyel Peters hails from Auburn, Alabama, where she spent her formative years. She pursued her education at Auburn University, gaining valuable experience interning with the Lee County District Counsel's office. Her role as a Graduate Research Assistant contributed to the publication of Professor Steven Brown's book, "Alabama Justice: The Cases and Faces that Changed a Nation."
Before embarking on her legal studies, Danyel worked with the Chambers County Development Authority in Chambers County, Alabama. She then attended Faulkner University's Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, earning her Juris Doctorate. During her time there, she held esteemed positions such as Honor Court Prosecutor, President of the Jones Public Interest Foundation, and Vice President of the Women's Legal Society.
