Chris earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) with honors from the Birmingham School of Law in 2010, followed by a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from the University of Alabama School of Law, graduating cum laude in 2013.

He is admitted to practice in Alabama state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama, and the U.S. Tax Court. Residing in Birmingham with his wife, Beth, and their three daughters, Chris is also a member of Canterbury United Methodist Church in Mountain Brook, where he has served on the board of the Child Development Center.
