About Josh Pipkin
Josh Pipkin was born and raised in Enterprise, Alabama, where he graduated from Enterprise High School. He pursued higher education at Auburn University, obtaining a B.S. in Accounting in 2006. Following his undergraduate studies, he attended Cumberland School of Law, where he excelled academically, earning a place on the Dean’s List. During his time at law school, Mr. Pipkin gained valuable experience clerking for Circuit Judges Hon. Eugene Verin and Hon. Jeff Kelley, as well as District Judge Hon. B. Paul Sherling. He completed his law degree in 2009 and was admitted to the Alabama Bar that same year.
After graduation, Josh returned to Enterprise and began his legal career with Richard W. Whittaker. After seven years, he founded the Pipkin Law Office, a general practice firm with a focus on Personal Injury, Civil Litigation, Criminal Defense/DUI, Real Estate, and Divorce. Mr. Pipkin has successfully represented clients in both State and Federal Courts, consistently achieving satisfactory outcomes.
Mr. Pipkin has served in various legal roles, including Lawyer for the Coffee County Commission, Prosecutor for the City of Enterprise, and Counsel for the Wiregrass Economic Development Corporation. He currently holds positions as New Brockton's City Counsel and Attorney for the New Brockton Water Board. Additionally, he was appointed by the Coffee County Commission to the county’s long-term strategic planning committee.
Governor Robert Bentley appointed Josh to the State-wide textbook committee, responsible for selecting textbooks for public schools across Alabama. In 2014, Mr. Pipkin graduated from the Alabama Leadership Initiative, a selective program by Leadership Alabama aimed at developing future leaders in the state. He was also a candidate for the Alabama State Legislature in 2014.
