Sam D. Bone

Sam D. Bone is a dedicated attorney based in Etowah County, Alabama, recognized by The National Trial Lawyers Association as one of the Top 40 Lawyers under 40 for 2015. Raised in Gadsden, Sam graduated from the last class of Gadsden High School before it transitioned to Gadsden City High School. He pursued his undergraduate studies at The University of Alabama, graduating in 2010, and obtained his law degree from the The University of Alabama School of Law in 2013, where he excelled academically, graduating in the top 20% of his class. During law school, he received the Cali Excellence for the Future Award in both the Criminal Defendant Clinic (2012) and Evidence #3 (2011).

Sam is admitted to practice law in Alabama (2013) and Georgia (2014). He actively contributes to the legal community as a member and Secretary of the Etowah County Bar Association. Additionally, he serves on the board of the Etowah County Boys & Girls Club.

Sam is married to Laura Jane Bone, a teacher at the Gadsden Alternative School / Gadsden City High School, and they have one child, Dani Brooks Bone, who was born in March 2015 during a capital murder trial. Sam's commitment to his clients and family is evident in his dedication to his work and his community.

In 2016, Sam was a featured speaker at the Etowah County Bar Association Seminar, discussing "Emergency Ex Parte custody orders," and at the Divorce Cases Start to Finish Seminar, where he addressed "Division and Valuation of Assets and Debt."
