Originally from Marietta, Georgia, Stephen earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Auburn University and his Juris Doctorate from Faulkner University's Thomas Goode Jones School of Law. During law school, he was recognized on the Dean’s list and received the CALI award for his performance in intellectual property law. He also gained valuable experience as a judicial clerk for the Honorable William A. Shashy.

Admitted to all Alabama courts, Stephen is also authorized to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Alabama and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Alabama. He handles a substantial caseload with the Social Security Administration's Office of Disability Adjudication Review. Since joining Greene & Phillips in early 2011, Stephen has been dedicated to protecting clients from unfair practices by businesses and insurance companies.
