Christopher Canterbury

Christopher Canterbury, an Anchorage-based attorney, has deep roots in Alaska. After graduating from Chugiak High School in 1985, he pursued higher education at Hamilton College, earning his degree in 1989, followed by a law degree from Columbia Law School in 1992. Returning to Alaska, he began his legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable James K. Singleton at the U.S. District Court for Alaska.

For over twenty years, Christopher has practiced law alongside his wife Michaela, who is also a native Alaskan. Together, they own Kelley & Canterbury LLC, where they specialize in personal injury law. Their practice is known for providing personalized attention, leveraging their combined insights to offer clients a comprehensive approach to legal challenges.

Christopher and Michaela have successfully handled a wide range of liability cases, including automotive collisions, slip and falls, sexual assault, medical negligence, and food-borne pathogen incidents. They are committed to understanding the unique challenges their clients face and ensuring fair resolutions to their claims.

Outside of their legal practice, Christopher and Michaela are parents to two hockey-enthusiast children and owners of two Irish Setter siblings.
