About Leah Martin
Leah Martin earned her J.D. from UNLV in 1999, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Nevada Law Journal and served as a judicial extern to U.S. District Court Judge Phillip Pro. She graduated summa cum laude in 2002 and was honored as the William S. Boyd Outstanding Graduate.
Upon graduation, Leah began her legal career at Lionel Sawyer & Collins, Nevada's largest law firm at the time, gaining valuable experience in various business law matters. Her career continued at Bailey Kennedy, where she further honed her skills under the mentorship of leading Nevada professionals.
In 2011, Leah established her own firm, leveraging her extensive background in business law. Her practice encompasses preparing formation documents, drafting agreements such as operating, shareholder, partnership, purchase, finance, and employment agreements, as well as handling contract litigation, shareholder derivative suits, business dissolutions, and appellate matters.
Leah has been actively involved in legal education and service. She contributed as an associate editor of the Nevada Civil Legal Practice Manual from 2004 to 2010 and served as a teaching assistant for the Nevada Civil Practice class at UNLV from 2006 to 2008. Since 2008, she has been a Nevada Bar Exam grader and has chaired the Clark County Law Foundation Community Service Committee since 2007. Additionally, she has served as an arbitrator on the Court Annexed Arbitration Program Panel since 2012.
Currently, Leah holds licenses with the State Bars of Nevada and Arizona, offering her clients expert legal services in business law.
