About Kyle Scoresby
J. Kyle Scoresby, a native of Mesa, Arizona, began his educational journey at Westwood High School, graduating in 1982. Following a church mission in Santiago, Chile from 1983 to 1985, he attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where he majored in Psychology and earned his Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, in August 1986.
Mr. Scoresby pursued his legal education at the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University. Excelling academically, he graduated magna cum laude in April 1989, finishing fourth in his class of about 150 students. During his time there, he contributed to the Brigham Young University Law Review, serving as Lead Note and Comment Editor in his final year, and was inducted into The Order of the Coif.
Upon completing law school, Mr. Scoresby joined the San Diego office of Gibson, Dunn and Crutcher, an international law firm. He became a member of the California Bar in December 1989, followed by the Arizona Bar in May 1990. His admissions also include the United States District Courts for the Southern District of California and the Arizona District, as well as the United States Supreme Court in May 1994.
Returning to Arizona in late 1990, Mr. Scoresby commenced his practice in family law in 1991. Over the years, he has focused exclusively on family law cases, leveraging his extensive experience to serve his clients effectively.
Mr. Scoresby and his wife, Karen, have been married since 1986 and are parents to four children. An avid athlete, he has completed the Boston Marathon, Ironman Triathlon, six marathons, and numerous other running, triathlon, and biking events.
