About Tony Piccuta
Charles “Tony” Piccuta is a distinguished second-generation attorney with a diverse legal background. He is one of the few lawyers admitted to practice in four states, having successfully passed the bar exams in Arizona, California, Illinois, and Nevada on his first attempt.
Tony's academic journey began at Cal Poly S.L.O, where he attended on a full athletic scholarship, earning a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology with double minors in Business and Psychology. He excelled in his law school entrance exam, scoring in the top ninetieth percentile, and attended Indiana University School of Law on a merit scholarship, graduating with honors.
Tony launched his legal career in downtown Chicago, working alongside prominent personal injury attorneys. He managed a caseload exceeding thirty matters, making court appearances and attending significant hearings from the outset. Over two years, he resolved numerous personal injury cases through arbitration, mediation, and trial, and assisted with high-stakes litigation involving catastrophic injuries and aviation accidents.
Returning to the western United States, Tony joined a national corporate firm, representing Fortune 500 companies. Over six years, he honed his skills in corporate defense, learning the strategies employed by large corporations and insurance companies. He managed the Arizona office of the firm, defending hundreds of claims and trying multiple cases to verdict.
In 2013, Tony founded his own practice, focusing on representing individuals. He has since secured six and seven-figure verdicts in both state and federal courts. Beyond his legal career, Tony is a dedicated husband, father, step-father, triathlete, author, and cancer survivor, having overcome non-Hodgkins lymphoma in 2014.
