Nichole Oblinger

Nichole Oblinger, an associate counsel in El Mirage, Arizona, is a 5th generation native of the state. Raised in the city of Miami, Gila County, she graduated from Miami High School and pursued higher education at ASU. Her family history is deeply entwined with Arizona's mining heritage, with ancestors who settled during the 1880s when copper and silver were major draws. Notably, her great-great-great-grandfather, Merritt Jackson McAlister, is buried in Tombstone's Boothill Graveyard.

Nichole has a diverse legal background, having served as a judge pro tem and as an accomplished litigator. She is committed to her role as a counselor, focusing on helping families achieve successful and independent lives. Her legal career began with business transactional law and litigation, as well as consumer bankruptcy. As Special Counsel to the Arizona Legal Professional General’s Office in the Child and Family Protection Division, she specialized in child welfare law, including termination of parental rights, guardianship, and adoption.

Active in her community, Nichole has contributed to the Anthem Rotary and Daisy Mountain Veterans in Anthem and participates in local recovery groups. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Administration of Justice from ASU West, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1995. She then received her juris doctorate from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas, graduating second in her class of 243 in 2007, also Summa Cum Laude.
