Karissa N. Murphy

Karissa N. Murphy is a dedicated legal professional specializing in personal injury law. Her journey began with a B.A. in Political Science and English Writing from the University of Pittsburgh in 2014. She then pursued a Juris Doctor degree at Duquesne University School of Law, graduating in 2018. During her time at Duquesne, Karissa actively participated in a civil rights clinic, organizing a significant expungement and pardon workshop for residents of Allegheny County.

Karissa's passion for personal injury law was ignited during her first year of law school, leading her to work with a civil law firm in the Pittsburgh area. Her deep understanding of the legal landscape in Pennsylvania has been further enriched by her involvement in various clinics and internships focused on civil rights. Her commitment to the community is evident through her volunteer work in election protection.

In recognition of her outstanding contributions to the field, Karissa was honored as a Nationally Ranked Top 10 Under 40 Lawyer in Personal Injury by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys in 2020. Additionally, she achieved First Place as a National Moot Court Champion in 2017 at the George Washington School of Law.
