Amanda J Bynum

Amanda J Bynum is a distinguished attorney practicing criminal corporate law in Tucson and throughout Pima County. Her career began as a trial legal counsel, where she quickly developed a passion for mentoring fellow attorneys and aspiring lawyers. This passion led her to become a respected educator on topics such as DUI Defense, trial techniques, courtroom ethics, legal professional wellness, and productivity.

Amanda's journey in education commenced when she led the Criminal Defense Clinic and taught Trial Advocacy part-time. She later transitioned to a full-time law professor and law school administrator, where she taught courses designed to prepare students for law school success, bar exam readiness, and various practice areas. Her role as director of the Internship program involved developing a course on competencies and foundations for practice, while also training attorney-supervisors in effective mentoring and guidance for externship students.

Before founding AJB Law, Amanda worked as a law professor, honing her ability to simplify complex legal concepts for injured parties, opposing counsel, judges, and juries. Her experience in education has been instrumental in her legal practice, where she combines trial skills with her talent for teaching.

Amanda's entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish several small businesses, culminating in the creation of Tucson Trademarks, where she advocates for small business owners by protecting their businesses and brands. She continues to contribute to the legal community by regularly teaching CLEs for attorneys, focusing on mentoring, self-care, and constructive feedback.
