About Joseph Christopher Hoke
Joseph Christopher Hoke was born and raised in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and has lived throughout the state. He completed his high school education at Jonesboro High, graduating with honors in 2007. Continuing a family tradition, he became the sixth member of his family to graduate from Hendrix College in Conway.
During his college years, Hoke interned with the Juvenile Drug Court program in Faulkner County, Arkansas. This experience sparked his passion for community advocacy, leading him to enroll at the William H. Bowen School of Law in Little Rock. While in law school, he externed at both the Arkansas Federal Public Defender’s Office and the Supreme Court of Arkansas.
Upon completing his law degree, Hoke was driven by a mission to offer legal assistance to those unable to afford it. He began his career serving as Parent Counsel in Pope and Johnson counties. He then joined Sprott, Golden & Bardwell in Harrison, where he honed his skills in domestic relations and criminal defense, gaining significant courtroom experience.
Hoke was drawn to Rainwater, Holt & Sexton, attracted by their successful client-centered approach. He values the opportunity to provide support during challenging times and prides himself on effective client communication.
Outside of his professional life, Hoke enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Amelia, their three children—Noah, Braylee, and Wally Joe—and their two dogs, Daisy and Charlie.
