About Piper Fortune
Piper Fortune was born and raised in Cotton Plant, Arkansas, a rural community where she developed a strong sense of community and a passion for advocacy. Her early life in such a setting inspired her to pursue a career in law, despite not meeting a lawyer until college.
Fortune attended Arkansas Tech University, earning a B.A. in Journalism with a focus on Public Relations in just three years. During her time there, she was active in various leadership roles, including boards for Delta Zeta sorority, the College Panhellenic Council, the Presidential Leadership Cabinet, and the Arkansas Tech Alumni Association. She achieved the Dean’s list, was recognized in the 2014 Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges, and was part of the inaugural class of Arkansas Tech Tradition Keepers.
After completing her undergraduate studies, Fortune moved to Little Rock to attend the Bowen School of Law, where she earned a Top Paper in Supreme Court Litigation. Upon graduation, she joined Hilburn and Harper, Ltd., gaining valuable experience in family law under the mentorship of experienced attorneys.
Fortune is passionate about representing clients in child custody disputes, adoptions, paternity actions, guardianships, and divorces. As a certified Lawyer ad Litem, she frequently advocates for the best interests of minor children in high-conflict custody cases. Her practice also focuses on complex marital estates, including high-value assets, businesses, and farms, where she excels in navigating challenging disputes.
