Latika M. Malkani

Latika M. Malkani has been a pivotal member of Siegel LeWitter Malkani since 1996, where she has passionately advocated for the rights of employees in numerous professions. Her commitment to justice is evident in her successful track record of helping employees secure better working conditions, negotiate severance packages, and obtain fair compensation through the enforcement of state and federal laws. Latika is driven by the belief that no one should endure inequality or humiliation in the workplace and works tirelessly to achieve positive changes for her clients.

A native of California, Latika was raised in Sacramento and completed her B.A. at UC Berkeley. She initially worked with Asian Immigrant Women Advocates, a nonprofit organization in Oakland, where she organized efforts with immigrant women workers to improve their workplaces and communities.

Latika returned to Sacramento to attend law school at UOP McGeorge School of Law, where she excelled in oral argument and advocacy. Her legal career includes experience with social justice law firms across California, such as Public Advocates in San Francisco, the Legal Aid Society of Alameda County, Community Legal Services in Sacramento, and the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles.

Outside of her legal work, Latika enjoys exploring the Bay Area's outdoors with her children.
