Myron Moskovitz

Myron Moskovitz is a distinguished figure in the realm of California civil appeals, having served as a law clerk to Justice Raymond E. Peters of the California Supreme Court. As the author of notable works such as Winning An Appeal and Moskovitz On Appeal, he has significantly contributed to appellate law literature.

With extensive experience in handling and consulting on numerous appeals, Mr. Moskovitz has achieved reversals in over 70% of his civil cases for appellants, a remarkable feat given the typical reversal rate in civil disputes is around 20%.

He is a Professor of Law Emeritus at Golden Gate University, where he taught Constitutional Law and Advanced Appellate Advocacy, and directed the Appellate Advocacy Institute. His academic credentials include a J.D. from Boalt Hall, with honors such as Law Review and the Order of the Coif.

Currently, as the Litigation Director of the Moskovitz Appellate Team, he leads a group comprising former appellate judges and law clerks, offering unique insights into appellate court perspectives. The team provides comprehensive services including representation, evaluation, consultation, and moot courts for both state and federal writs and appeals.
