Spojmie Ahmady Nasiri

Spojmie Nasiri, principal attorney, deeply understands the complexities of the U.S. immigration process due to her own experiences as a first-generation immigrant. Her commitment to immigration law is evident through her education and active community involvement. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Davis, followed by her Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University, School of Law.

Ms. Nasiri is a member of the California State Bar and is admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. As an exclusive practitioner of immigration law, she is also an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Her dedication extends to her pro bono work with the Immigration Law Clinic at the University of California, Davis, where she provided representation, pro bono referrals, and pro se materials to detained immigrants.

In addition to her work with the clinic, Ms. Nasiri volunteered at the Immigrants’ Interests Clinic at Stanford University and offers legal services to the Afghan community both in the United States and globally. She possesses extensive experience in various immigration and deportation defense matters. Her efforts include conducting know-your-entitlements presentations on legal issues affecting immigrant communities at the West County Detention Center in Richmond and the Yuba County Detention Facility in Marysville, California.

Ms. Nasiri assists clients with a broad range of immigration matters, including consular applications, representation before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, defense in Immigration Court, and handling criminal immigration proceedings in federal court. She is fluent in Pashto and Dari, enhancing her ability to serve diverse clients.
