Marie Puertollano

Marie Puertollano, Managing Attorney at the law offices of Jacob Sapochnick, is a distinguished member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Born in France, she holds two Master Degrees in Law, one in Public Law from France and another in Comparative Law (LL.M) from the United States. Her linguistic proficiency extends to French, English, and Spanish.

Ms. Puertollano is adept at representing clients facing removal in the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the BIA, and immigration court. She practices across all facets of immigration law, including family-based, employment-based, and investment-based immigrant and non-immigrant visas.

Her expertise includes filing petitions for family-based visas (marriage, fiancé, I-751), employment-based visas (H-1B, H-3, TN, R-1, L-1, PERM, EB1C), and investment-based petitions (E-2). She also handles naturalization, DACA, F-1 reinstatement, extraordinary ability visas (O-1, NIW, EB-1A), athlete visas (P-1), I-360 Victim of Violence Visas (VAWA), and asylum cases. Outside of her legal practice, Ms. Puertollano enjoys exercising and spending quality time with family and friends. She is also a motivational speaker and mentors high school students, sharing her expertise and guidance.
