Matthew Springmeyer

Matthew H. Springmeyer is a skilled attorney practicing in Chula Vista, California. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Literacy Studies from the University of Utah in 2010. Following this, he attended the California Western School of Law in San Diego, where he graduated in 2013, achieving Magna Cum Laude honors and ranking in the top ten of his class.

During his time in law school, Mr. Springmeyer demonstrated a commitment to community service as Co-Chair of the Community Outreach Committee, facilitating volunteer opportunities for law students. He consistently made the Dean’s Honor List and was recognized with Pro Bono and Public Service honors for his significant volunteer contributions. He also served as the Executive Notes and Comments Editor for the California Western International Law Journal and was an active member of the California Western Law Review.

Mr. Springmeyer gained valuable experience as a federal judicial extern for the Honorable Magistrate Judge Ruben B. Brooks in the Southern District of California. His professional journey also includes roles with the San Diego County Public Defender's Multiple Conflicts Office, the Law Aid Society of San Diego’s Pro Bono Clinics, and the U.S. Legal Counsel’s Office for the Southern District of California, where he contributed to the Narcotics Enforcement Section.

He is licensed to practice law in all California state courts and the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
