Redmond Walton

Redmond Walton is an accomplished attorney at the Walton Law Firm in Chula Vista, California. A native of North County San Diego, Redmond pursued his undergraduate studies at UC Santa Cruz, earning a B.S. in Earth Science and participating in the university's surf team. He advanced his legal education at California Western School of Law, achieving Dean's List honors and serving as Editor of the California Western Law Review. His scholarly article, 'Not Bluffing: Resolving Doctrinal Ambiguities in California's Natural Condition Immunity as Climate Change Heightens Risks of Injuries on Public Lands,' was published in the California Western Law Review (Vol. 58: Iss. 2, Article 7).

Redmond also authored an insightful piece titled 'Nursing Homes: Health & Safety Code §1430, subdivision (b), An Overlooked Statute That Can Drive Your Case,' featured in the October 2025 issue of Advocate magazine. This article explores how statutory violations can strengthen cases of abuse or neglect in nursing homes.

During law school, he gained valuable experience as a Judicial Extern for Hon. Dana Sabraw, Chief Federal Judge of the Southern District of California. Redmond also served as a Cal Western Teaching Fellow in Torts, offering academic support to his peers. He graduated Cum Laude in 2023.

Before embarking on his legal career, Redmond dedicated nearly a decade as an ocean lifeguard across various North County beaches. In his leisure time, he enjoys surfing.
