Melody Mohammadi

Melody Mohammadi is an associate in the Corporate Department at Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP (JMBM), where she focuses on representing financial institutions, sponsors, institutional investors, and private companies in diverse debt financing transactions. Her expertise spans senior-secured, asset-based, and syndicated financings, as well as cash-flow, cross-border, working capital, commercial solar, and acquisition financings, including those secured by real property.

Melody is responsible for drafting and negotiating complex loan documentation. This includes loan agreements, guaranties, subordination and security agreements, perfection certificates, closing certificates, and related ancillary documents. She also conducts comprehensive due diligence, reviewing UCC and intellectual property searches to support secured lending transactions.

Clients appreciate her strong research and drafting skills, along with her responsiveness and eagerness to comprehend their needs and provide effective assistance.

Before joining JMBM, Melody was an associate in the commercial finance and luxury brands group at a national law firm. She has also worked in legal and consulting roles, including as a consultant in the Financial Services Organization at EY, where she supported compliance testing and client communications for wealth and asset management firms.

In her personal time, Melody enjoys watching movies and television, exploring new restaurants, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.
