Andrew I. Shadoff

Andrew I. Shadoff is a partner in the Litigation department at JMBM, where he is a key member of the Appellate, Patent Litigation, and Professional Liability Defense Groups. Andrew's extensive practice encompasses legal and actuarial medical negligence claims, breach of fiduciary duty, business disputes, and intellectual property matters, including patent, copyright, and trademark infringement. He also handles commercial lease and contract actions.

Andrew provides strategic counsel to local California businesses on corporate governance and management issues. His clientele includes international law firms, national restaurant chains, major record labels, and commercial landlords. Andrew is deeply involved in all phases of litigation and arbitration, from pre-lawsuit investigations to trials and appeals. He has achieved favorable outcomes for clients at the pleading stage, through summary judgments, and in appeals before California’s Second District Court of Appeal and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Outside of his legal practice, Andrew enjoys playing beach volleyball and tennis, reading literature, cooking, and traveling.
