Paul Lee is committed to achieving justice for victims of significant harm. Before establishing Kaplan Lee LLP, Paul was a litigation partner at Lewis, Brisbois, Bisgaard & Smith LLP, one of California's largest law firms. There, he honed his litigation skills and built a strong defense record for corporations and insurance companies. His defense successes include the dismissal of a manufacturing client in a severe lung disease case, where other defendants faced substantial financial penalties. Paul also achieved dismissals or summary judgments for various corporate clients, including a pharmaceutical company, an industrial wire shelving manufacturer, an industrial pump component manufacturer, an environmental remediation firm, and a Fortune 100 retailer, all in cases involving catastrophic injuries.

Currently, Paul is passionate about using his skills to secure justice for victims. He finds great satisfaction in obtaining exceptional outcomes for clients who might otherwise remain uncompensated. His notable achievements include being retained in 2009-2010 by an out-of-state firm to prosecute a mass tort lawsuit for thousands of Hurricane Katrina victims.

In addition to his focus on personal injury and product liability, Paul handles complex business and employment cases, including breach of contract, Business and Professions Code 17200 claims, fraud, business torts, Proposition 65, and wrongful termination. Paul and his family reside in Huntington Beach with their husky and cat.
