Melody Mohammadi

Melody Mohammadi is an associate in the Corporate Department at Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP (JMBM), based in Irvine, California. She focuses on debt financing transactions, representing financial institutions, sponsors, institutional investors, and private companies. Her work encompasses a range of financings, including senior-secured, asset-based, syndicated, cash-flow, cross-border, working capital, commercial solar, acquisition financings, and those secured by real property.

Melody's responsibilities involve drafting and negotiating intricate loan documentation, such as loan agreements, guaranties, subordination and security agreements, perfection certificates, and closing certificates. She also performs comprehensive due diligence, reviewing UCC and intellectual property searches to support secured lending transactions.

Before joining JMBM, Melody was an associate in the commercial finance and luxury brands group at a national law firm. Her career also includes roles in both legal and consulting capacities. Notably, she worked as a consultant in the Financial Services Organization at EY, where she supported compliance testing initiatives and managed client communications for wealth and asset management firms.

Outside of her professional commitments, Melody enjoys watching movies and television, exploring new restaurants, traveling, and spending quality time with loved ones.
