Edyta Christina Grzybowska Grant

Edyta Christina Grzybowska Grant stands out among U.S. immigration attorneys due to her personal journey as an immigrant. Born to Polish and Bulgarian parents, she has lived in three countries, including the U.S., and has navigated numerous immigration processes firsthand. This unique perspective enables her to empathize with the challenges faced by foreigners and those without status.

Ms. Grzybowska Grant holds a Masters Degree in Public Policy with a focus on International Relations from Pepperdine University, and a Juris Doctor from George Mason University School of Law. During her studies, she interned with Ms. Anne Greer, Assistant Chief Immigration Judge for the Board of Immigration Appeals, and contributed to the Asylum Clinic led by retired Federal Judge Bruce Einhorn.

Arriving in the U.S. in 1995 on a full tuition scholarship to a Boston college, Ms. Grzybowska Grant has earned numerous accolades, including the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Asylum and Refugee Law, the Diversity Scholar title for the Washington DC Metropolitan Region, and scholarships from both the Kern County Women Lawyers Foundation and the Colors of Justice.

Her legal career began in civil law at Thomas Anton and Associates, where she worked on cases related to the Erin Brockovich series. Despite her diverse legal background, her passion remains firmly rooted in immigration law. She currently dedicates her practice entirely to this area and volunteers with the Greater Bakersfield Litigation Assistance program.

Ms. Grzybowska Grant maintains strong connections with expatriate communities and has a reputation for building excellent rapport with her clients.
