Gerald Emmett Brunn

Gerald E. Brunn, originally from San Francisco, has achieved an AV-Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, reflecting his outstanding professional excellence and integrity. Practicing in Modesto, California, Mr. Brunn is dedicated to representing clients in trials and litigation, personal injury and wrongful death cases, employment law, and business and corporate law matters.

Mr. Brunn's distinguished career includes serving as a Special Master for the State Bar of California. He is also an adjunct professor at Chapman University and Modesto Junior College, where he imparts his knowledge in Business Law, Employment and Labor Law, Constitutional Law, Legal History, and Political Science. His expertise in mediation is backed by training from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law. He is active on the Mediation and Arbitration Panels of Superior Courts across Northern California.

In 2012, Mr. Brunn retired as a Colonel from the United States Army Reserve after a remarkable thirty-three-year tenure. His military career included roles such as Associate Professor of Law at the United States Military Academy, West Point; Dean of the Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School; and Staff Judge Advocate for United States Army Japan. His service was recognized with the Legion of Merit for his contributions to educating and inspiring future Army officers.

Colonel (Ret.) Brunn continues to contribute to military education as the Congressional District Coordinator for West Point’s Admissions Directorate and serves as Chairman of two Congressional Academy Nomination Committees.
