Paul R. Scheele

Paul R. Scheele, a seasoned trial attorney at Curtis Legal Group, focuses his practice on personal injury litigation in Modesto, California. Since 2005, Paul has been dedicated to advocating for the rights of injury victims in cases involving motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall incidents, nursing home abuse, civil assault, products liability, and dog bites. His early career experience defending insurance companies in personal injury cases gives him unique insight into navigating legal challenges against them.

Paul earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communications with honors from the University of California in 1999, followed by a law degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law in 2004. During law school, he gained valuable experience working for the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office and as a legal intern for the Legal Aid Society of Miami-Dade, assisting low-income residents.

Recognized for his professional achievements, Paul was named to the Rising Stars list by Thomson Reuters from 2013 to 2015 in the field of Personal Injury Law. He is an active member of the State Bar of California, Stanislaus County Bar Association, California Lawyers Association, and Consumer Attorneys of California.

A native of the Central Valley, Paul attended high school in Modesto. He is committed to community service, volunteering annually with the Salvation Army and the Stanislaus County Mock Trial Competition. In his leisure time, he enjoys outdoor activities, coaching youth sports, and spending time with his wife, Kirsten, and their three children.
