Lawrence Fulton King J.D.

Lawrence Fulton King J.D. has dedicated over 23 years to full-time mediation of divorce and family law disputes through his firm, Divorce Resolutions®, LLC. He has successfully mediated over 3,000 cases for Colorado couples, specializing in complex financial divorce estates. A summa cum laude graduate of Colorado College, Mr. King was a member of the University of California Davis law review and served as a judicial law clerk for the Colorado Court of Appeals. His career in public law included roles as Chief Deputy District Counsel and Municipal Court Judge before he transitioned to private practice and mediation.

As a founding member of the Academy of Professional Mediators and a designated Professional Mediator by the Colorado Mediation Association, Mr. King is recognized for his innovative use of technology in mediation. He pioneered the use of large screen panels and remote participation to enhance alternative dispute resolution. Mr. King is also a frequent lecturer, sharing his expertise in mediation practice and technology at national conventions such as the Academy of Family Mediators (AFM), Family Mediation Section of the Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR), and the Academy of Professional Family Mediators (APFM), as well as various state and county associations for divorce attorneys, family lawyers, and mediators.
