Elaine Esther Lukic

Elaine Esther Lukic brings 27 years of expertise in criminal law, particularly in defending domestic violence and sexual assault cases. As a former prosecutor in these fields, she has achieved a notable record of acquittals and dismissals. Her work has been acknowledged in prestigious listings such as Who’s Who in Top U.S. Criminal Defense Attorneys and Who’s Who in American Criminal Lawyers.

Elaine earned book awards for her outstanding performance in the Trial Workshop and Advanced Trial Workshop at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1996 and 1997, respectively. Her scholarly contributions include a published dissertation at Georgetown University Law Center in 1997 and authorship of “Intradiction and U.S. Drug Policy in International Marijuana Cases” in 1998. She was also active in Moot Court and the Law Review during her time at Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

Her professional experience extends to financial services, having been a Registered Investment Advisor with the SEC in Alexandria, Virginia, in 1989. Elaine held significant positions such as Vice President at Merrill Lynch in New York and Associate Vice President at Shearson, American Express in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
