Mr. Eric L. Nesbitt

Eric L. Nesbitt is a highly experienced attorney with a focus on real estate and business law, practicing in Colorado and Illinois since 1991. His expertise encompasses real estate transactions, contract negotiations, and commercial litigation. As the founder and principal of The Nesbitt Commercial Group, affiliated with Keller Williams DTC and KW Commercial, Eric brings a unique perspective as both a lawyer and a licensed real estate broker.

Throughout his career, Eric has represented notable clients such as Wells Fargo Bank, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the City and County of Denver, among others. His legal acumen extends to both residential and commercial matters, making him a trusted advisor in the field.

Eric is an active speaker and presenter at the Colorado Bar Association's Continuing Legal Education Seminars. In 2017, he shared his expertise on Title Issues in Real Estate Transactions at the Real Estate Law Symposium. His leadership roles include past board membership with the CBA's Continuing Legal Education organization and former treasurer of the Solo and Small Firm Committee.

In addition to his legal practice, Eric has served as the President of the Denver Metropolitan Commercial Association of Realtors and chaired the Rocky Mountain Commercial Real Estate Expo. He was recognized as the 2009 Commercial Realtor of the Year by DMCAR and the Denver Business Journal. Currently, he contributes as a Commissioner on the 18th Judicial Nominating Committee and serves on the Colorado Real Estate Commission Forms Committee.
