David Pigott

David J. Pigott, Esq. is a highly regarded attorney in Broomfield, Colorado, with extensive experience in various legal fields. He is licensed to practice in all Colorado county and district courts, the Colorado Court of Appeals, the Colorado Supreme Court, the United States District Court, the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. A dedicated member of the Adams and Broomfield County Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, and the American Bar Association, Mr. Pigott offers expertise in personal injury, criminal defense, corporate law, family law, and estate planning.

Before establishing Hampton & Pigott LLP, Mr. Pigott gained valuable experience as an associate counsel at a general practice firm in downtown Denver. He also held positions with the Adams County District Attorney, the Manhattan District Attorney, and the Colorado Attorney General. Mr. Pigott earned his law degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder, complemented by a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy, West Point.

Prior to his legal career, Mr. Pigott served as an officer in the United States Army for five years, completing two tours in Iraq. His military honors include two Bronze Stars, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the Army Parachutist’s Badge, the Army Air Assault Badge, and the Combat Action Badge. Today, he continues his service as a member of the Colorado National Guard’s Judge Advocate General’s office.

An active community member, Mr. Pigott is a former Trustee of Broomfield FISH, founder of The Brick Foundation, and a member of Nativity of Our Lord. He is passionate about politics, economics, and aerospace technologies, and enjoys playing hockey and snowboarding.
