Craig Valentine

Craig Valentine leads the Colorado Springs office of Modern Family Law, where he focuses on domestic relations. His unique perspective in family law is informed by his undergraduate studies in marriage and family relationships, originally aimed at becoming a marriage therapist. This background, combined with his extensive legal experience, enhances his ability to serve his clients effectively.

Prior to joining Modern Family Law, Craig was involved in class action and mass tort cases, as well as personal injury and medical malpractice litigation. His efforts contributed to recoveries exceeding $1 billion from defendants. His transition into family law was a deliberate choice, driven by his passion for helping families navigate complex legal matters.

Originally from various parts of the United States, Craig and his family have called Colorado Springs home since his law school graduation. He is committed to serving the people of southern Colorado and enjoys the opportunity to focus his practice in this region.

Craig has lived in multiple countries, including Mexico and Canada, which has enriched his cultural and linguistic skills. He speaks Spanish, though he notes his accent has diminished over time. Outside of his professional life, Craig is passionate about cooking, reading, and white-water rafting. His family life keeps him busy with his four children engaged in soccer, music, and other activities.
