Donald C Eby

Donald "Corky" Eby serves as the Managing Partner at Robinson & Henry, P.C., where he leads the office's real estate legal practice. His expertise extends to assisting Colorado veterans with VA disability ratings, special recovery, discharge review, and other Veterans Administration claims. In addition to his work with veterans, Donald handles a range of business and commercial law issues, including acquisitions and mergers, joint ventures, entity formation, collections, franchises, contract issues, and offering general corporate counsel.

Prior to joining Robinson & Henry, Donald served in the US Navy, where he was part of aviation squadrons and served on aircraft carriers, the Naval Discharge Review Board, and other special assignments. His military career included deployments to Iraq, Kuwait, the Red Sea, Persian Gulf, Mediterranean, and Adriatic Sea.

Donald has also owned and operated a real estate company for over ten years, personally buying and selling numerous homes and addressing a variety of tenant issues, such as broken leases, property repairs, and evictions. This diverse background provides him with a unique perspective on the challenges faced by business owners, landlords, and veterans. He frequently speaks to groups about legal concerns.

His professional affiliations include the American Bar Association and the Colorado Bar Association's Real Estate and Natural Resources Sections. He also manages the Douglas Elbert County Bar Association LinkedIn Group.

Education: Donald earned his Bachelor of Science from Oklahoma State University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver. He completed the Colorado Real Estate Practice Course at Colorado Bar Association CLE.

Honors and Awards: He received the Scholastic Excellence Award in Trial Practice and was named Corporate Apprentice of the Year at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.

Bar Admission: He is admitted to practice law in Colorado.

Community Activities: Donald is active in the Castle Rock Board of Adjustments, Colorado Real Estate Investors, NAIOP's Legislative Affairs Committee, MOAA, Navy League, and Colorado Lawyers for Colorado Veterans.
