Jesse R. Sweeney

Jesse R. Sweeney, founder and president, is a seasoned bankruptcy attorney based in Canon City, Colorado. He graduated Cum Laude from Michigan State University Law School in 1999, following his studies at Michigan State University, James Madison College. Jesse R. Sweeney is certified as a bankruptcy expert by the American Board of Certification and is a member of both the American Bankruptcy Institute and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.

Licensed in the State of Michigan and admitted to practice in the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, as well as the US District Court of Colorado, Jesse has been dedicated to bankruptcy law for more than two decades. Since 2005, he has successfully operated his own practice, focusing on helping clients eliminate debt and achieve a fresh financial start. With over 1,000 cases filed and hundreds discharged, he is committed to providing effective debt relief solutions.

Jesse has contributed his expertise at two American Bankruptcy Institute conferences, discussing the National Model Plan and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters and is an avid ultramarathon runner. A 10-time Boston Marathon qualifier, he has completed races ranging from 5k to 100k, including a notable sub-3:15 ascent of Pikes Peak in Colorado.
