Caryn J. Adams

Caryn J. Adams is a dedicated attorney representing clients in a wide array of criminal cases, including DUI, DWAI, drug offenses, domestic violence (both felony and misdemeanor), as well as property crimes such as criminal mischief, burglary, criminal trespass, identity theft, and theft. Her expertise extends to forgery, fraud, violent crimes like assault, robbery, menacing, traffic and driving offenses, weapons cases, and escape charges. Ms. Adams is also proficient in handling post-conviction issues, appeals, and civil matters such as protection orders and personal injury cases.

In family law, Ms. Adams assists clients with protection orders, no contact agreements, separation agreements, divorce, and custody issues. Her comprehensive approach ensures that clients receive thorough representation in all aspects of family legal matters.

Ms. Adams earned her Law Degree from the University of California, Berkeley’s Boalt Hall School of Law in 2003. During her time there, she was recognized for her excellence in public speaking, receiving both The Boalt Hall Alumni Fellowship and the Jamison Prize for Scholarship and Advocacy.

Her professional affiliations are extensive, including membership in the Colorado Bar Association, the El Paso County Bar Association, The Colorado Criminal Defense Bar Association, and the Ben S. Wendelken Inn of Court. She is committed to her community, volunteering as a mentor in the Colorado Springs Municipal Court’s Teen Court program and serving as a coach and judge for local mock trial teams and competitions. Additionally, Ms. Adams is an active participant in the Colorado Springs Rotary Club.
