Craig Valentine

Craig Valentine leads the Colorado Springs office of Modern Family Law, focusing on all aspects of domestic relations. His approach to family law is enriched by his background in marriage and family studies, which initially aimed to prepare him for a career as a marriage therapist. This unique foundation, combined with his extensive legal experience, allows Craig to offer a distinctive perspective in serving families.

Before joining Modern Family Law, Craig represented plaintiffs in class action and mass tort cases, as well as personal injury and medical malpractice. He contributed to cases that collectively recovered over $1 billion for plaintiffs. This diverse legal experience has equipped him with a broad skill set that he now applies to family law.

Craig's professional journey has taken him across the country and state, but he and his family have made Colorado Springs their home since his law school graduation. He is enthusiastic about dedicating more of his professional efforts to serving the people of southern Colorado.

Having lived in various parts of the United States, as well as in Mexico and Canada, Craig brings a rich cultural perspective to his practice. He and his wife stay busy with their four children, who are active in soccer, music, and other pursuits. In his leisure time, Craig enjoys cooking, reading, and white-water rafting. He also speaks Spanish, although he notes that his accent has faded since his time in Mexico.
