Jesse R. Sweeney

Jesse R. Sweeney, president and founder of his law firm, graduated cum laude from Michigan State University Law School in 1999. He is a certified bankruptcy expert through the American Board of Certification and a member of both the American Bankruptcy Institute and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. Licensed in Michigan and Colorado, he is in good standing with the State of Michigan, the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, and the US District Court of Colorado.

Since 2005, Jesse has operated his own practice, focusing on bankruptcy law. He has filed over 1,000 cases, with hundreds successfully discharged, aiming to provide clients with a fresh financial start. Jesse has shared his expertise at American Bankruptcy Institute conferences, discussing the National Model Plan and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Outside of his professional life, Jesse is an avid runner, having qualified for the Boston Marathon ten times. He has completed various races, from 5k to 100k, including a notable sub-3:15 ascent of Pikes Peak. In his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters and training for ultramarathons.
