Samuel B. Edwards

Samuel B. Edwards, a partner at SSEK, has cultivated a comprehensive practice in representing clients from the United States and nearly every continent in investment and financial disputes. Over the past decade, he has advocated for a diverse range of clients, including retirees, community banks, credit unions, and governmental entities defrauded by Wall Street through various schemes and products.

Mr. Edwards handles cases concerning unsuitable investment recommendations, churning, misrepresentations, and fraud. The investments in question span from straightforward stocks and bonds to more complex financial instruments, such as annuities, options, futures, and sophisticated derivatives like structured products, CMOs, IOs, Inverse IOs, CDOs, CLOs, synthetic CDOs, Credit Default Swaps, and hedge funds. He has represented clients before FINRA, AAA, and JAMS arbitration panels, as well as in state and federal courts across the nation.

As an active member of the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association (PIABA), Mr. Edwards collaborates with attorneys nationwide to safeguard investor rights. He serves on the PIABA Board of Directors and is a former editor-in-chief of the PIABA Bar Journal, where he continues to contribute articles. His writings are also featured in the Practicing Law Institute’s securities handbooks and other publications. Additionally, Mr. Edwards frequently lectures on investment disputes and securities law, providing training for attorneys nationwide.
