Mary Daugherty

Mary Daugherty has dedicated her career to providing essential legal support to clients, focusing on immigration, domestic violence, and family law in Colorado Springs. Her private practice is driven by a mission to make legal services accessible and affordable.

Mary's legal journey began at Florida Rural Legal Services, Inc., where she represented migrant farmworkers in immigration and wage disputes in Fort Myers, Florida, during 2012 and 2013. She later transitioned to the Lakeland office, where she recruited attorneys to provide pro bono services for low-income families in divorce and custody cases. During her tenure from 2013 to 2016, she also represented clients in collection, eviction, guardianship, and will-drafting matters.

In 2017, Mary joined the Izaguirre Law Firm in Colorado Springs as an associate attorney, focusing on family law and immigration. Her extensive experience in advising and litigating hundreds of cases has been instrumental in establishing her own practice, Daugherty Law LLC, with a commitment to justice in immigration and family law.

Outside of her legal work, Mary is passionate about fitness and enjoys hiking, running, and cross-fitting. She spends quality time with her son and husband, watches Marvel movies, and experiments with cooking. Currently, she is training with the goal of qualifying for the Boston Marathon.
