Seth Albin

Seth A. Albin offers extensive expertise in Bankruptcy, Creditor’s Rights, and Family Law, including divorce, adoption, child custody, and support issues. His practice also encompasses Enforcement and Collection of Judgments, Secured Transactions, Arbitration, Litigation, and Municipal Law.

Before joining Summers Compton Wells, Seth was part of a major law firm in St. Louis and served as in-house counsel for a commercial lender. His experience includes representing both secured and unsecured creditors and debtors, handling debt restructuring, bankruptcy litigation, and receiverships.

Seth is a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Panel Trustee, Chapter 12 Bankruptcy Panel Trustee, and a Subchapter V Trustee in the Eastern District of Missouri. He is also a panel arbitrator for United States Arbitration and Mediation and has participated in over 100 arbitrations.

In addition to his legal practice, Seth has acted as a Receiver, Special Master, and Guardian Ad Litem in civil and domestic cases. He volunteers as a Special Prosecutor for the St. Louis County Domestic Violence Court.

Seth actively contributes to legal education, having lectured on Bankruptcy and Family Law, Enforcement and Collection of Judgments, and Arbitration Clauses. He co-authored Chapter 4 of the Missouri Bar Bankruptcy Practice Deskbook.
