George Indest

George F. Indest III leads as the President and Managing Partner of The Health Law Firm, located in Orlando. With board certification from the Florida Bar in Health Law, Mr. Indest brings extensive expertise to his practice. He is also certified as a health care risk manager by the American Board of Risk Management, Inc.

Mr. Indest's practice covers a comprehensive range of areas including business, corporate, transactional, regulatory, and administrative health law. He represents a diverse clientele of physicians, nurses, hospitals, home health agencies, long-term care facilities, and other health care providers. His legal services extend to professional licensing litigation, business litigation, defense of health care providers, negotiation of health care practice sales, and Medicare Fraud defense.

Holding an AV® Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, Mr. Indest has achieved the highest level of professional excellence, with a rating of 5 out of 5. His background includes serving as in-house counsel at a major Navy teaching hospital, where he managed legal and medical risk management programs for a regional health care system comprising twenty-seven hospitals and treatment facilities.

Mr. Indest has contributed to the legal community through his roles on the Executive Council of the Health Law Section of the Florida Bar and as Chair of the Medical/Legal Committee of the Orange County Bar Association. He earned his BA and JD degree, cum laude, from Tulane University, and an LL.M. degree, with highest honors, from the National Law Center, George Washington University, Washington, D.C., focusing on health care law.

He is admitted to practice in the state bars of Florida, Louisiana, and the District of Columbia. Additionally, Mr. Indest has served on the Board of Directors of a nonprofit charity nursing home and other charitable organizations.
