Sarah E Lamborne

Sarah E Lamborne is a seasoned attorney specializing in family law, currently practicing in Fort Collins, Colorado. She began her academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Biological and Cognitive Psychology, graduating with University Honors from the University of Michigan. After graduation, she enriched her global perspective by working as an au pair in northern France and serving in the Peace Corps in Chad, Central Africa, nurturing a lifelong passion for travel.

Before attending law school, Ms. Lamborne gained valuable experience as a Legal Assistant in law firms located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Boston, Massachusetts. Here, she supported attorneys on cases involving criminal law, domestic relations, insurance defense, and medical malpractice, which ignited her interest in the legal profession.

Ms. Lamborne pursued her legal studies at the University of Colorado School of Law, where she excelled in juvenile and family law, earning a Juvenile and Family Law Certificate with Honors. Her commitment extended beyond academics as she participated in the Juvenile Law Clinic, advocating for children as a Guardian ad litem in Dependency and Neglect cases. She also achieved the Public Service Pledge Program Award for completing over 50 hours of law-related public service and expanded her horizons by studying abroad with Seton Hall University in Cairo, Egypt.

Focusing her practice exclusively on family law, Ms. Lamborne has served clients in Larimer, Boulder, Weld, Jefferson, Adams, and Denver Counties, with a primary focus now in Larimer County. Her professional affiliations include membership in the Colorado Bar Association, the Larimer County Bar Association, the Colorado Women’s Bar Association, and the Young Lawyers Division. Additionally, she contributes to her community as a Board Member for the Matthews House, supporting families and youth in transition.
