William Clifton Doutt

William Clifton Doutt is a dedicated trial lawyer in Fort Collins, Colorado, with a focus on personal injury, negligence, and insurance bad faith cases. Since beginning his legal career in 2005, Bill has successfully represented individuals injured or killed in automobile accidents, car versus bicycle collisions, truck crashes, and incidents involving hazardous property conditions.

Bill's courtroom expertise and experience have been instrumental in achieving fair outcomes for victims of negligence. He values the personal relationships that develop through close client collaboration, ensuring that each case receives the individual attention and tailored strategy it deserves. He believes that no two cases are alike and that each client should have a plan that meets their specific needs and goals.

Outside the courtroom, Bill is an enthusiastic cyclist, actively volunteering to support local and regional bicycling initiatives. Although he has raced road and mountain bikes at the club level in the past, he now rides for enjoyment, health, and commuting, often biking to work. His interests also include hiking, snow sports, and camping.

Bill holds a law degree from the Beasley School of Law at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During his time at Temple, he gained valuable experience through legal clinical positions at the Philadelphia Public Defenders’ Office and the City of Philadelphia Solicitor’s Office. He also served as a student assistant, helping a Temple Law professor with research in intellectual property, antitrust, and corporate law.

Before pursuing law, Bill earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
