Mary Daugherty

Mary Daugherty has built a career centered on empowering her clients through accessible legal representation. In her current private practice in Colorado Springs, she advocates for immigrants, domestic violence survivors, and families, striving to make a positive impact.

Her earlier work includes representing migrant farmworkers in immigration and wage disputes with Florida Rural Legal Services, Inc. in Fort Myers, Florida, during 2012 and 2013. From 2013 to 2016, Mary continued her advocacy at the Lakeland office, recruiting attorneys to provide pro bono services for low-income families and personally handling cases related to divorce, custody, collections, evictions, guardianships, and wills.

In 2017, Mary joined the Izaguirre Law Firm in Colorado Springs as an associate attorney, where she further honed her skills in family law and immigration. Her extensive experience has been instrumental in her role at Daugherty Law LLC, where she has advised and litigated hundreds of cases, with a mission to make justice accessible and affordable.

Outside the courtroom, Mary enjoys an active lifestyle, engaging in hiking, running, and cross-fit. She cherishes time with her family, enjoys Marvel movies, and is an enthusiastic cook. Currently, she is training with the goal of qualifying for the Boston Marathon.
