About Henry A. Perles
Henry A. Perles has been a valued member of Owens, Schine & Nicola, PC since 2006. Before joining the firm, he was a founder and partner at the Fairfield-based law firm Kleban & Samor. Currently, he is based in the Trumbull office, where he specializes in commercial and residential real estate and business matters. Earlier in his career, Mr. Perles practiced matrimonial law.
Mr. Perles earned his degree, cum laude, from Amherst College in 1964, followed by his Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law in 1967. During his time at law school, he was a member of the International Moot Court Team and received the I. Maurice Wormser prize for appellate advocacy.
After completing his legal education, Mr. Perles was admitted to the bars of Connecticut and New York. He is also a member of the bars of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut and the United States Supreme Court.
In addition to his legal career, Mr. Perles has actively contributed to his alma mater, Amherst College, serving as Class President, Class Agent, and Reunion Chair. He has also been involved in educational fundraising, acting as Chair of the Parents Committee at Colgate University and the Parents Fund Raising Committee of the Hopkins School in New Haven, Connecticut. Mr. Perles and his wife, Ruth, reside in Easton, Connecticut, and are proud parents of two sons.
