Daniel Austin Petroskey

Daniel Austin Petroskey has established a distinguished career in representing injured families with empathy and expertise. Since his admission to the Connecticut Bar in 2004, Dan has focused exclusively on plaintiffs in personal injury cases, achieving significant recoveries for those affected by motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-fall incidents, premises liability, and dog bites.

In 2013, Dan joined DeFronzo & Petroskey, PC, as an associate, and in 2021, he became Attorney Eugene L. DeFronzo’s first and only partner. He now leads the firm, upholding its six-decade tradition of treating clients like family. His approach blends meticulous legal preparation with genuine care, ensuring clients feel valued and understood.

A native of Connecticut, Dan excelled at North Branford High School and played basketball at Colby College. He earned his law degree from Albany Law School and is admitted to practice in both Connecticut and New York. Dan's professional excellence is recognized by Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers, and he actively participates in the Connecticut and Waterbury Bar Associations. He also serves as Chairman of the Board for the Rivera Memorial Foundation.

Residing in Wallingford with his family, Dan is deeply involved in his community. He coaches youth sports, founded a middle school mock trial team, and fosters dogs, demonstrating the same compassion he extends to his clients.
