About Eric Posmantier
Eric Posmantier began his legal career in 1997 with a clerkship at the Department of Legal Research for the Judicial Branch, Superior Court of Connecticut. In 1998, he joined the firm Fogarty Cohen Selby & Nemiroff LLC in Greenwich, Connecticut, as an associate, where he later became a partner from 2007 to 2012.
During his tenure at FCSN, Mr. Posmantier concentrated on high net worth asset division, support awards, and complex child custody disputes. He has successfully argued cases before the Appellate Court of Connecticut multiple times and appeared twice before the Connecticut Supreme Court. His role as a special master for the Connecticut Superior Court involved resolving high-conflict child custody disputes at the Regional Family Trial Docket in Middletown.
